create a captivating showcase for a race car display inside their main offices, they turned to

reinforcing TMS's second-floor lobby to provide a unique and eye-catching backdrop for the

racing venue to place its vehicle.

Strength Under Pressure: Engineered to Handle the Load

Pros provided in the project. The challenge was to reinforce the lobby floor to support the weight

of a race car while maintaining the sleek aesthetic. The team achieved this by filling the space

with a metal deck and using wire mesh to ensure structural integrity. Mesh was strategically

chosen over traditional rebar for a seamless 2-3 inch concrete pour, resulting in a sturdy yet

visually appealing finish.

vehicle for visitors and associates to view when entering the lobby. The project was not only
